Mallory Kalajian

Mallory began her training at North Atlanta Dance Academy at the age of five. There, she studied under Michael Garrison, Tatiana Makarova, Susan Davern, Ellen d’Hemecourt, Stacey Schlicter, Jessica Noorwood, David Noorwood, Aris Golemi, Bubba Carr and others.

Her area of studies were ballet, pointe, character, jazz, modern, and contemporary. Mallory was a member of the NADT Company for six years. She participated in many of NADA’s Pre-Professional Summer Intensives as well as performed in many of North Atlanta Dance Theater’s productions. Mallory has also trained in theatrical acting under David Gay, African Dance Technique with Theresa Howard, and Musical Theater under Jeff Whiting at the Open Jar Institute in NYC. Mallory has choreographed for Alpha Productions for the Georgia One-Act Competition entries of The Katrina Project and Galaxy Video. She also has assisted in choreography under Norbert Nirewicz and Stacey Schlicter with the Averitt Center for the Arts, and Robert Chabot with Christian Youth Theater. Mallory currently attends Kennesaw State University to major in public relations with a minor in dance. She is a member of KSU’s Dance Company and continues to study dance in classes of ballet, modern, jazz, and African dance. Mallory began teaching for NADA during the 2012 Summer Intensive and is thrilled to continue teaching and nurturing her passion for dance.
